Proxima (“we”, “our”, “the app”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account — your email address, used only to sign you in with a one-time code.
• Your content — the tasks, checklists, notes, keywords, and reminders you create.
• Notifications — if you enable them, a device push token so we can deliver the reminders you schedule.

How we use your information

We use it to provide the app: to store and sync your tasks, and to send the reminders you set. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Advertising

Proxima shows advertising to support development. Any advertising relies only on limited technical data (such as a device advertising identifier) — never the content of your tasks, notes, or reminders — and we will never sell your personal data to advertisers.

Storage & security

Your data is stored with our backend provider (Supabase) and protected by row-level security, so only your authenticated account can access your data. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

Retention & deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account. This removes your tasks, reminders, settings, and sign-in record.

How to request data deletion

You have two ways to request the deletion of your account and all associated data:

Option 1 — In-app (instant):

1. Open the Proxima app.
2. Tap the profile icon or go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account".
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account, tasks, reminders, settings, and sign-in record are permanently removed immediately.

Option 2 — By email (if you no longer have access to the app):

1. Send an email to bettermanagement1@outlook.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
2. Include the email address associated with your Proxima account.
3. We will process your request and permanently delete your data within 30 days.

Upon deletion, we remove: your email address, all tasks and notes, reminders and push tokens, and all account settings. No personal data is retained after deletion.

Age & children

Proxima is intended for people aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
